Hermes - Iris Toast to the Gods

The Mystic Krewe of Hermes and the Krewe of Iris will raise a toast to the Greek Gods of Hermes and Iris. Join us as we celebrate the start of our Mardi Gras festivities. The event is held at the intersection of Royal and St. Louis Streets. More about the Hermes-Iris Toast here.
Hermes Walking Parade

A grand tradition continues as the men of Hermes parade through the French Quarter, along with marching bands and plenty of throws!
We start at Charters and St. Peter Streets, head up to Bourbon, and finish somewhere toward Canal Street.

Hermes Evening Parade
5:30 pm
As the sun goes down, New Orleans’ oldest continuous nighttime parade assembles Uptown. The parade starts on Jefferson Avenue, turns onto Magazine Street, and then onto Napoleon Avenue. From Napoleon, we take a right-hand turn onto St. Charles Avenue and continue to Canal Street. Then, we make a left and head toward Loyola Avenue. Join us for our main event!
